Roberta Diehl Rodrigues MD PHD

Dr. Roberta is a board certified neurologist graduated by the Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre (UFSCPA) – Santa Casa Hospital Complex. She joined the Biobank for Aging Studies of the University of São Paulo in 2011, where she developed her PhD thesis. She received her PhD degree in 2015 studying the neuropathology of the neurodegenerative diseases, with a work focused on Argyrophilic grain disease. Additionally, in 2014 she spent one year in the Institute of Neuropathology of the University of Basel, Switzerland, studying tau models in C.elegans and mice in a split-site doctoral program. Currently, Dr. Roberta is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Neurology of the University of São Paulo with the project “Characterization of tau astrogliopathy on aging and neurodegenerative diseases”.

Daniela Souza Farias-Itao BSN MSc

Nurse graduated from São Camilo University Center (2007-2010) and specialization in Cardiology (lacto sensu) at Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) (2011-2012). She joined  the Biobank for Aging Studies from University of São Paulo Medical School in 2010. Daniela completed her Master in Science at University of São Paulo Medical School in 2016 with scholarship and grant participation provided by FAPESP (2013/12290-3 and 2013/00335-2), mentored by Dr. Claudia Kimie Suemoto. Currently, she is a PhD student in the same institute under the same mentorship. Her PhD thesis is entitled “Characterization of the inflammation profile in the perivascular adipose tissue associated with coronary artery atherosclerosis: an autopsy study”, which has a grant provided by FAPESP, as well as a doctoral scholarship (2017/11313-0 and 2017/24066-1). She develops research in atherosclerosis, aging, coronary artery disease, and inflammation.
